Research Analyst

You can be located anywhere in the world and still work for the successful Sunset Investment Group Team. Our Research Analysts are responsible for the production of detailed, informative, analytical research reports on all of the major sectors and broad market indices.

These positions require a proven track record of successful market analysis and strong research skills. Fundamental and technical analysis of the markets, sectors/indices and individual companies will be your primary focus. Strong communications and excellent writing skills a must.

Commentary Writer

Sunset Investment Group is constantly looking for people that can see inside the market and translate this insight into common English that all traders can understand. Our market commentary sets us apart from the competition in that we go beyond reporting or recapping what has occurred in the market. We use our experience and expertise to explain what is going on in real terms and then translate that into how it will affect the overall markets and investors in general. Using both technical and fundamental analysis combined with market experience and understanding, we give investors a real sense of what's going on and where the markets are likely headed.

This is a critical position for us in that it is very high profile in nature. Our Commentary Writers must be adept at and comfortable with fundamental and technical analysis of the markets. Additionally, the position requires a demonstrated trading background and/or ability, strong communications skills, excellent writing skills and the ability to meet tough deadlines.

Research/Writer

Sunset Investment Group is constantly looking for people that can see inside the market and translate this insight into common English that all traders can understand. We need both writers able to submit play recommendations and to write actual play write ups for our various sites as well as those looking to submit educational or instructional (content) pieces on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate for the "play writing" research position will possess extensive trading experience and a demonstrated ability to provide detailed research and analysis supporting the stocks recommendations they produce. They will be called on to create and update recommendations several times each week.

The research position responsible for producing various types of instructional or educational content allows you to be as involved as you want. Daily, weekly, monthly or as situations occur. You call your own shots. These pieces are often based on current events. They tend to incorporate the trading backgrounds, strategies or experiences of the individual researchers producing the pieces. They are geared at helping, enlightening or entertaining our readers.

Both positions require trading experience, understanding of fundamental and technical analysis, strong communications skills, excellent writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
