New Features at Splittrader.com

We think of Splittrader as a work in progress, so we are always looking for ways to improve the site. I have some new features and an exciting addition to the staff to tell you about.

First, I have to preface this by saying that we have the same team members, but the roles have changed. Louis Horkin has moved to Executive Director of Sunset Investment Group, the parent company of Splittrader.com. I have taken his place as editor, but you can expect to hear from Louis from time to time.

Moving into the assistant editor position is S.P. Brown. His incisive editorials and market commentary have been a trademark of Splittrader since we first began the site way back in the 20th century. (OK, it was 1999 if you want to be specific!) Anyway, we're glad to have him aboard full time.

Readers who have been with Splittrader for awhile have undoubtedly noticed we occasionally modify the site. Today we introduce our IN PLAY page, which is a daily update of stop limits for each of our current plays. The page also recommends trailing stops that will become effective if the stock advances. Note that the stops will change on a daily basis. For instance, the stop recommended for Wednesday will likely be different than the one recommended for Tuesday. You can access IN PLAY by clicking on the newly created link in the index, which is located on the left-hand side of the start page.

We will be putting up other new features very soon. Look for a "Frequently Asked Questions" page and a "Short Plays" section, followed by two more additions: hourly market updates and a morning stock watch on our plays. We'll be sure to alert you when the features are introduced.

We welcome your comments and suggestions as the new features are added to the site.
